Description
Nederlands: Galerij in Werihet (Oupeye) voor de afwatering van mijn Biquet-Gorée in Werihet (Oupeye) die uitmondt naast het vroegere huis van zijn directeur. Deze afvoer dateert van het begin van 19de eeuw. Ze werd waarschijnlijk rond 1850 vergroot om de ontgonnen steenkool van zetel Pieter af te voeren naar het kanaal Luik-Maastricht. De uitbating van de mijn Biquet-Gorée werd gestopt in 1917.
Français : Galerie d’exhaure à Werihet (Oupeye) de la Houillère Biquet-Gorée qui débouche à côté de l’ancienne maison de son directeur. Cette galerie de drainage date du début du 19ème siècle. Il a probablement été agrandi vers 1850 pour évacuer par là son charbon de son puits Pieter vers son quai le long du canal Liège-Maestricht. L'exploitation de la mine Biquet-Gorée est mis à l'arrêt en 1917.
