Description
English: Desde el 9 de enero hasta el 9 de mayo de 2021, el Museo del Oro del Banco de la República, el Ministerio de Cultura del Perú y el Museo Arqueológico Nacional Brüning exhibirán en Bogotá vestigios hallados en la tumba de la Sacerdotisa de Chornancap, uno de los hallazgos arqueológicos más importantes de los últimos tiempos. El rico ajuar y su iconografía demuestran el rol principal de la mujer en Perú y en Suramérica, ya hace 7 siglos. La exposición temporal da a conocer elementos de oro, plata y cerámica del suntuoso ajuar funerario, y la historia de la mujer con más alta jerarquía en la cultura lambayeque encontrada hasta el momento, un triunfo de la arqueología científica sobre el saqueo del patrimonio.
