Summary edit

Description

Directly ahead, right in front of those low bushes is the Damn Beaver Dam. The creek itself runs, (in the spring because of the melt water and in fall due to the rains), from a marshy area well beyond the trees on the left along the edge of the pasture here and then into the bush on the right for about 100-150 feet landing at a big limestone wall. Where the water drains away through various craks, fissures and holes into the aquafer. Do you see the path worn into the grass, just there in the shade of the trees? Good. See how it curves around? Ya? Good.

We aren't going that way...
