English: Presumed portrait of Princess Maria Clementina, Duchess of Calabria (1777-1801), misidentified with her aunt Maria Carolina of Austria (1752-1814)
Français : "cette miniature donnée jadis à Dumont, semble devoir être restituée à Füger. Marie-Caroline, fille de l'impératrice Marie-Thérèse et de François Ier, Empereur d'Allemagne était la sœur de Marie-Antoinette. Elle est morte à Schönbrunn. Selon P. Jean-Richard (Musée du Louvre, Département des arts graphiques, Inventaire des miniatures sur ivoire conservées au Cabinet des dessins, Musée du Louvre et Musée d'Orsay, Paris, 1994, n. 240), le modèle serait Marie Clémentine, archiduchesse d'Autriche, et non pas la reine de Naples. Füger a peint plusieurs miniatures de l'archiduchesse Marie Clémentine (cat. vente Sotheby's, Londres, Clore collection, 17 mars 1986, n. 73, repr. ; vente Sotheby Parke Bernet, Monaco, Heckett collection, 4 mai 1977, n. 69, repr.)."
