Description U.S. Navy flight deck crew members attach a Grumman F-14A Tomcat from Fighter Squadron 11 (VF-11) "Red Rippers" to a catapult aboard the aircraft carrier USS Forrestal (CV-59) during Exercise "West Wind '88". VF-11 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 6 (CVW-6) aboard the Forrestal for a deployment to the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean from 25 April to 7 October 1988.
