Description A U.S. Navy McDonnell F-4B-27-MC Phantom II (BuNo 153031) from Fighter Squadron 114 (VF-114) "Aardvarks" on approach for recovery on board the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CVA-63) on 27 April 1969. VF-114 was assigned to Attack Carrier Air Wing 11 (CVW-11) aboard the Kitty Hawk for a deployment to the Western Pacific and Vietnam from 30 December 1968 to 4 September 1969.
