The F-4B 150477 was later shot down by flak over Vietnam on 13 October 1967 while in service with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron VMFA-323. Both crew became prisoners of war. 150646 crashed after a total electrical failure over the Gulf of Tonkin on 28 July 1965 while still in service with VF-21. Both crew ejected and were rescued.
