Summary edit

Description

George AFB, 23 January 1987.

Two F-4Es with their arrester hook down. How is that?

75-0629 was one of only 10 F-4E Phantoms used by the Luftwaffe to train German pilots at George AFB. They were part of the 20th TFS (35th TFW). In 1992 the Germans moved to Holloman AFB and started training on the Tornado. F-4 75-0629 was sent to Hopsten for storage and should still be here.

In the back ground you can see an F-4E from Edwards. According to my notes it is 65-0713, an YF-4E prototype.
