Description A U.S. Navy Vought F-8E Crusader from Fighter Squadron 51 (VF-51) "Screaming Eagles" is launched from the aircraft carrier USS Ticonderoga (CVA-14). VF-51 was assigned to Attack Carrier Air Wing 5 (CVW-5) aboard the Ticonderoga for a deployment to the Western Pacific and Vietnam from 14 April to 15 December 1964. The Crusader is armed with Zuni rockets.
