DescriptionF. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald Passport Book Pages 4 and 5 Retouched.jpg |
English: A digitally retouched version of pages 4 and 5 of the passport book for writer F. Scott Fitzgerald, his wife Zelda Fitzgerald, and their only child Frances "Scottie" Fitzgerald. This passport book was likely obtained circa Spring 1924 when the Fitzgeralds relocated from America to Europe during the latter half of Jazz Age. While abroad in Europe, Fitzgerald would compose his magnum opus The Great Gatsby based on his earlier love affair with socialite Ginevra King. Throughout their lives, Fitzgerald's continued obsession with King would strain his relationship with his wife Zelda. |

This is a retouched picture, which means that it has been digitally altered from its original version. Modifications: The original scan has been painstakingly retouched and digitally restored via Adobe Photoshop using a variety of methods: Scratches were removed; missing segments of the passport book were replaced using Auto-Fill; the color was improved; a light grain was added; selected color shifts were used, as well as numerous other changes. This restoration process took several days..
