editDescriptionF3H VF-64 CVA-41.jpg | Four McDonnell F3H-2 Demon fighters of fighter squadron VF-64 Free Lancers in 1958/59. VF-64 was deployed with Carrier Air Group Two (CVG-2) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Midway (CVA-41) to the Western Pacific from 16 August 1958 to 12 March 1959. On 1 July 1959 VF-64 was redesignated VF-21. Four F3H-2s are visible: BuNos 143457, 145205, 145213, and 145215. |
