Description
English: A U.S. Navy Boeing F/A-18F Super Hornet Strike Fighter Squadron 2 (VFA-2) "Bounty Hunters" lands aboard the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) on 18 January 2018. Captain Tom Barber, Commander, Carrier Air Wing 2 (CVW-2) and Commander Jason Hutcherson, commanding officer of VFA-2 completed their 1000th carrier arrested landing or "trap" with this landing. VFA-2 was assigned to CVW-2 aboard the Carl Vinson for a deployment to the Western Pacific and the Indian Ocean.
