Description
English: Early post Medieval copper alloy hooked clasp 24mm long, 13mm wide and 2mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 2.01grams. The object is sub rectangular in form and section and consists of a hollow frame with protruding scrolls filling most of the lower half. Below this is an indented solid border. Below this the object take the form of a rounded hook which terminates in a sharp point. It is very similar to example 419, p.106 in Read, B. Hooked clasps and eyes.
