Español: Bell UH-1H-BF Iroquois número de construcción 12438 y número de serie 70-15828, matriculado en la Fuerza Aérea Uruguaya como FAU 059, perteneciente a la dotación del Escuadrón Aéreo N.° 5 (Helicópteros) de la Brigada Aérea I. En la imagen el helicóptero se encuentra estacionado dentro del Aeropuerto Internacional "Ángel S. Adami" de Montevideo, el día 8 de junio del año 2019, con motivo de la celebración por el 44.° aniversario del Instituto de Adiestramiento Aeronáutico. Esta aeronave en particular arribó a Uruguay en el año 2009 y fue destinada al Escuadrón Aéreo N.° 5 (Helicópteros) el día 8 de septiembre del año 2009. Fue transferida, junto a otras tres de su mismo tipo, desde el Reino de España, en donde se encontraba prestando servicios como parte de las Fuerzas Aeromóviles del Ejército de Tierra. Arribó al país por vía marítima en febrero del año 2009, tras haber sido cargada en Bilbao, con destino el Puerto de Montevideo.
English: Uruguayan Air Force Bell UH-1H-BF Iroquois (c/n 12438, s/n 70-15828) identified as FAU 059, belonging to the Air Squadron No. 5 (Helicopters) of the Air Brigade I. In the image the helicopter is parked inside the "Ángel S. Adami" International Airport of Montevideo, on June 8, 2019, on the occasion of the celebration of the 44th anniversary of the Aeronautical Training Institute. This particular aircraft arrived in Uruguay in 2009 and was assigned to Air Squadron No. 5 (Helicopters) on September 8, 2009. It was transferred, along with three others of the same type, from the Kingdom of Spain, where it was serving as part of the Air Mobile Forces of the Army of Spain. It arrived by sea in February 2009, after being loaded in Bilbao, Spain, with destination Montevideo. |
