English: The Great Southern Cross Pearl. The Southern Cross is a natural, baroque Pinctada maxima cluster, a formation of nine pearls in the shape of a rough cross measuring 37.2mm in length and 18.3mm in width. It was found off Baldwin Creek in Western Australia in 1883.
