Description	Svenska: Saab slutmonterade 35-5 den 10 januari 1958 och några dagar senare kom det i luften för första gången. Flygplanet var kvar på Saab fram till augusti samma år, då blev det överfört till Försökscentralen FC för fortsatta prover. Vid en förevisning i Basel 1958 genomförde provflygaren Ceylon Utterborn en dramatisk flygning i överljudsfart med Saab 35-5. Efter flygningen dekorerades flygplanet med det schweiziska försvarets emblem Hochgebirgsabzeichen. Schweiz var vid tiden i begrepp att köpa flygplan byggda för överljudsfart och visade stort intresse för Saab 35 Draken. Provflygplan 35-5 blev kasserat 1966 efter 655 flygningar. Efter fullgjord tjänst i flygvapnet kom det till Kungliga tekniska högskolan (KTH) i Stockholm. Där blev plåtarna på högra sidan bortmonterade i undervisningssyfte. Flygvapenmuseum övertog flygplanet 1982 och donerade det 2008 till Österlens flygmuseum. Märkning: på fenan 05
