Summary edit

Description
English: The remains of an old heritage building on Pitt Street in Auckland City, New Zealand. Only the facade is still original. Better than nothing, I guess. The shops remain empty after over a year, a sign of how the global financial crisis has struck the retail market, and how being just 50m down from the main strip (Karangahape Road) can hurt your chances. On the other hand, one of the future CBD tunnel train station is to be directly out the door, so in 10 years, the property may be worth twice or thrice as much.
