Sample of knitted Fairisle pattern

Summary edit

Description
English: Fairisle is a knitted pattern with stitches in different colours of wool. The patterns achievable are many. Fine wools, such as 4-ply and 2-ply are generally used as crossing wools on the back of the work produces quite a thick material.
