Description Last week we decided to attempt the Little Beehive at Lake Louise. We didn't make it all the way there, but did make it to the part where I think you can see the destination. There was just too much snow and it didn't seem safe to proceed further. Twice, I sunk straight into pretty much waist level deep snow. It was quite a struggle getting myself back up even with trekking poles. So we turned around and headed to Lake Agnes instead. Those stairs leading up to the tea house were quite treacherous. We'll probably wait until Summer before we attempt the Little Beehive again. Here's a look at Fairview Mountain and Big Beehive. Both of which we did successfully hike last year. :D
