A view of the Falmer Stadium (also known as the American Express Community Stadium or "The Amex") near Brighton, East Sussex, UK. The "mixed use" stadium is primarily the home ground of "The Seagulls" - Brighton and Hove Albion Football [Soccer] Club. Designed by architects from the KSS Design Group, the saddle / Pringle shaped curves of the structure are intended to echo the gentle hills of the surrounding chalk downs. Seen from the west, shortly before dawn. The image is derived from an HDR (High Dynamic Range) file, utilising Local Adaptation techniques. |
