| Description |
English: I clicked this picture at a very Instagram worthy cafe in Bhubaneswar. A tea lover at heart, I am always game for an extra cup of chai. This is a picture of 'Cutting Chai', an extremely popular beverage in Mumbai and is very unique because it is presented in a glass instead of an earthen cup or regular glass/ceramic cup. Even though the quantity served is usually small, but if it has the right amount of milk and brewed to perfection; then it can do wonders! From helping you to kickstart your day to brushing away the mid week blues, chai is the perfect solution to all. My most favorite aspect about this image is that we might visit fancy cafes instead of the roadside stalls for hanging out with friends because ambience and presentation are too important these days, but a part of us will always crave for humble things in life, like this chai, that remind us of our beginnings. Maybe once in a while, we must pause life for a few minutes and grab a cutting chai. |
