Description

A far view of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, which looks beautiful from any angle. Notes about the tower appeared in previous captions. Here is some additional information about the tower, which looks like a needle with an onion stuck into it. The highest sphere is called the Space Module at 350 mtr above the ground. It is excellent spot to enjoy a bird's-eye view of the city, but it is difficult to see close-up views of attractions, such as the Bund. The lower sphere has three levels at 259 mtr to 267 mtr. The top level is a revolving restaurant while the lower two levels are viewing platforms. From the main sightseeing floor at 263 meters, you can take an elevator down to a glass-bottomed sightseeing floor at 259 mtr. It is considered a memorable experience to walk on the sightseeing floor and enjoy a 360° view of the Huangpu River and buildings on both sides of the river. Visitors with a fear of heights should avoid this glass floor.

The lowest sphere is called Space City at a height of 90 mtr. The Oriental Pearl TV Tower was not included in the tour, so all this information is got from the net. (Shanghai, China, May 2017)
