| Description |
English: Farmland near Ashdown House and Park. This square is a mixture of farmland and woodland with some of the Ashdown house on the southern edge. This view taken from the parking area at Middle Wood, looks through the trees across the farmland towards Crowbury Tump. Ashdown House is currently totally obscured by scaffolding, as it is under major stonework repair. It is of Dutch style Architecture and was associated with Elizabeth of Bohemia, the sister of Charles 1, also known as the "Winter Queen". |
