English: Farmland south of Windmill Hill, Winterbourne Monkton The cultivated arable land in the lower half of the image is in this square. It is turning green quite early with next year's crop of what could be oilseed rape, cereal or, perhaps, linseed. Beyond the farmland lies the small village of Avebury Trusloe. The conical shape of the man-made Silbury Hill is unmistakable. |
