Français : Ce dispositif nucléaire représente le type de bombe surnommée Fat Man qui fut larguée sur Nagasaki. Ce même type fut utilisé sur l'atoll de Bikini en juillet 1946, lors de l'opération crossroads, afin de tester les effets des bombes atomiques sur des cibles navales. English: This nuclear device is representative of the type of atomic bomb, nicknamed Fat Man, that was dropped on Nagasaki, Japan to end the second world war. This same type was also utilized by the Navy in Operation Crossroads, a test to determine the effects of atomic bombs on naval targets, at Bikini atoll in July of 1946. |
