Notes
  • Significance: The Ortega-MacMillan House is a fine, typical St. Augustine domestic structure with an 18th century coquina masonry first story, and an early 19th century frame second story and gable roof. No known important historic events occurred in this house. Two separate historic accounts dated 1962 and 1963 are included in the Historic American Buildings Survey report since each compliments and adds new information to the other. A further note dated 1965 indicates the restoration program in progress.
  • Survey number: HABS FL-124
  • Building/structure dates: ca. 1825 Initial Construction
