| Description |
English: Late Baroque pulpit in the former Jesuit (later Cistercian) Church in Székesfehérvár. Made in 1749 by Károly Bebó (statues) and Caspar Fries (carpentry). White and gold colour scheme. Iconography: four cherubs with shepherd's scrip and symbols of the different aspects of Christ: shepherd's crook (the Good Shepherd), horn of salvation (the Saviour), breaking the bread (the Bread of Life) and grain shovel (the Judge), the first cherub is slumbering; the coat-of-arms of the Jesuit Order; the Good Shepherd (relief); Perfidy exposed (lower group with evil putti, one of them holding a mask and a horn); floral and rocaille decoration; the Baptism of Jesus (relief on the door); dove, cherubs (one of them holding a book), Archangel Michael standing on a globe with the Tablets of Stone, the Eye of Providence (abat-voix).
