Deutsch: Der Wiederaufbau Ostpreußens. Originalzitat der Bildunterschrift von 1915: "Russischer Vandalismus hat in Ostpreußen 19000 Wohnhäuser zerstört und 80000 Wohnungseinrichtungen vernichtet. Der Wiederaufbau dieser tiefbedauernswerten Provinz wird jetzt rüstig in die Wege geleitet. Große Feldbahnanlagen zum raschen Beseitigen der Trümmer sind in Ostpreußen eingetroffen, und die Aufräumungsarbeiten, zu denen zahlreiche russische Gefangene verwandt werden, haben an vielen Orten begonnen. Unsere Aufnahme zeigt ein Lager von Feldbahnwagen und Schienenanlagen in dem südlich von Johannisburg gelegenen Grenzort Dlottowen."
