Meine liebe Mama!
Vielen Dank für Deinen Brief. Ich war tief erschüttert als ich das von Fritzl las. Habe ihm sofort geschrieben hoffentlich bekommt er den Brief. Hatt er den noch diese Feldpostnummer wenn er im Lazarett liegt? Der arme Kerl für ihn ist es besonders schlimm Du weißt ja wie er ist. Er hatte aber immer schon so eine Ahnung, was sagt den Hansi dazu? Für sie ist es jetzt auch schwer. Ja den Schicksal kann man nicht aus dem Wege gehen. Da hast Du recht für ihn ist nun der Krieg vorbei. Aber am schönsten ist doch wen man gesund durchkommt und das hoffe ich. Nun noch eine Neuigkeit ich bin mit Wirkung vom 1.IX. zum Gefreiten befördert worden. Ja Dein Sohn macht sich na es war ja auch schon Zeit nach 19 Monaten Soldat. Mir geht es hier noch immer gut. Heute am Samstag [habe ich Kasernenwache.]
