[Wir wollen vom ganzen Herzen hoffen daß es und den Sieg] und somit den ersehnten Frieden bringt. Das alte Jahr habe ich ja den Umständen entsprechend ganz gut verbracht war doch über ³/₄ davon in der Heimat. Solches Glück haben Heute Grenadiere ganz selten. Mir geht es ja soweit gut bin gesund und munter. Der Tag verläuft in den schon beschriebenen Einerlei. Denke nun aber auch oft daran ob Du nur nicht zu schwer arbeitest. Mama ich will Dich noch recht recht lange haben raker Dich bitte nicht ab. Auf das Geld sind wir wohl nicht so angewiesen, oder doch?! Denke daran auch im neuen Jahr! Um mich mach Dir keine Sorgen ich komm schon durch. Denke nun bitte dringend an das Schreibpapier! Grüße alle Bekannte auch ihnen alles Gute fürs neue Jahr.
