Osten, d. 30.V.43.
Mein geliebtes Muttl!
Gestern kam Dein lieber Feldpostbrief vom 23.V. hab vielen Dank dafür. Auch das 1 kg Packet ist eingetroffen auch dafür recht herzlichen Dank. Mein Päckchen ist also auch schon angekommen dachte mir doch daß es Dich freuen wird. Kam das große Packet auch schon, laß es Dir recht gut schmecken! Ich bekam auch von Fählers ein Packet, Siegi bat ich einmal um Briefpapier nun trifft eine Sendung nach der anderen mit Briefpapier ein. Die Wochenrundschau kommt ganz unregelmäßig manchmal bleibt sie ganz aus. Die Schwimmhose habe ich leider noch nicht warte schon sehr darauf. Über Deinen Traum mußte ich lachen ja es war doch eine wunderschöne Zeit.
Du fährst also auf Erholung ich bin sehr froh darüber da kannst Du wenigstens etwas ausspannen.
Ich sitze nun hier in unseren Vorgarten und schreibe Dir es ist schön warm heraußen. Richtig Sonntägliche Stimmung ist hier alles ruhig und friedlich. Von der Ferne hört man eine Harmonika spielen ein paar Russen singen. Es ist Nachmittag die Kameraden schlafen zum größten Teil. Vom Krieg hier nichts zu spühren. Gestern Abend war großer Betrieb hier es wurde gesungen getanzt und gefeiert. Wie ganz anders ist es hier als vorne. Am Freitag gab es wieder Maketenderwaren habe sie mit den Feldwebel aufgeteilt und dann allein nach vorne gebracht. Das war ein Hallo als ich da ankam [die Jungs hatten alle nichts mehr zu rauchen.]
