Mein liebes Muttl!
Jetzt komme ich eben von einer Übung im Gelände zurück es ist Mittag da setze ich mich gleich hin und schreib meinen lieben Muttl. Zuerst danke ich Dir für Deinen lieben Brief vom 29.III.44 [29.II.?] und das Päckchen mit Pasta [Zahnpaste?] und Seife. Die RiF Seife [Eine "Reichsstelle für industrielle Fette", abgekürzt RIF, koordinierte die Verteilung der Abfallfette und –öle an die Seifenproduzenten, die ihr Erzeugnis, die "Einheitsseife", mit einer Herstellerkennzahl und der Prägung "RIF" auslieferten. - siehe: Seifen-Gerüchte; Bild eines Seifengrabsteins ] wäre ja nicht notwendig gewesen solche habe ich noch.
Wundere mich nur welch reges interesse die Bezirkshauptmannschaft [österreichisch: allgemeine Verwaltungsbehörde der Politischen Bezirke Österreichs in erster Instanz] jetzt uns gegenüber aufbringt. Was die alles wissen wollen ist doch allerhand. Früher als es uns noch schlecht ging da hatt sich kein Mensch um uns gekümmert na ist doch immer das alte Lied. Bin nur neugierig was die wieder wollen. - Das kein Alarm mehr war beruhigt mich, hier ist es immer das selbe. Aber habe wie gesagt keine Angst um mich hier passiert nichts. Ich paß ja auch auf.
