Mein liebes Muttl!
Recht vom Herzen grüße ich Dich wieder. Wie geht es Dir denn und was machst Du? Es waren doch wieder Angriffe auf unsere Wienerstadt war es schlimm, bei uns ist doch noch alles heil? Hast Du meinen Brief mit dem Bild noch nicht erhalten? Ich habe jetzt schon längere Zeit keine Post von Dir das liegt wohl an der allgemeinen Einschränkung!
Was sagt man denn daheim zu Rumänien? [ Königlicher Staatsstreich in Rumänien am 23. 8. 1944 ] Das ist doch bestimmt auch allerhand. Ja da sieht man es wieder Freunde hat man nur so lange, so lange es einen gut geht jetzt wo es trübe aussieht laßen uns alle so langsam im Stich. Man darf über das ganze garnicht nach denken. Na wir wollen nur noch immer hoffen daß das ganze nicht umsonst war.
Bei mir ist noch alles beim alten ich bin gesund u. es geht mir gut. Die ganze Woche war herrliches Wetter zum baden. Gestern hatten wir wieder Dienst aber um 18.00 h war Schluß da ging ich noch ins Kino. Stell Dir vor „Schrammeln“ wurde gespielt. Es war herrlich schön ich hätte „heulen“ können. Dachte daran wie wir [zusammen im Schloßkino waren.]
