Mein geliebtes Muttl!
Deine lieben Zeilen freuten mich wie immer sehr doch wie trafen mich Deine beiden traurigen Nachrichten. Ich kann es gar nicht fassen und glauben. Erst mein alter Freund Pegi und jetzt auch Herr Tschirtner. Wie grausam ist doch das Schicksal immer nimmt es die Besten. Ich kann mir vorstellen wie schwer dies Pegi's Frau mit dem Kleinen und Frau Tschirtner Karl und die Mädels traf. ich werde natürlich an sie schreiben und ihnen so gut als möglich trost zu sprechen doch helfen und heilen kann nur die Zeit daß weißt Du ja selbst am Besten. Heute kam auch Deine Zeitung es ist erschütternd die Opfer auf der letzten Seite, wenn doch nur dieses Elend endlich ein Ende hätte. Hoffentlich wird es in unseren Wien nicht noch schlimmer.
Siehst Du mein Muttl wie es bei Pegi gekommen ist wär hätte dies je gedacht er hatte es doch bestimmt gut getroffen. Wem es bestimmt ist der kann seinen Schicksal nicht entgehen. Sonderbar ist nur das auch hier wieder knapp hintereinander der Tod zwei Freunde es dem Leben riss wie bei Buwi und Mundl. Wir wollen ihnen immer ein ehrendes Gedenken behalten und vom Herzen hoffen das auch ihr Opfer nicht umsonst war.
