English: Fell Lane and a sheepfold. Looking east along Fell Lane near a small sheepfold. A short distance ahead the vertical dark shape by the left hand wall is an old stone gatepost - see 863375 - and just beyond that there are gateways on either side of the lane. The small ruin/pile of stones in the field to the left of the photo is recorded as a barn on the 1850 O.S. map. |
