Description

This female black-tailed skimmer (Orthetrum cancellatum) came just out of the nymph (on the right side on this picture). This little miracle happened also near our little pond.

Vandaag bij het maaien van de gazon ontdekt : een gewone oeverlibel die uit de nymf is gekropen op 20 centimeter van de vijverrand. Het is een meisjelibel, want deze zijn geel met twee zwarte banden, terwijl de mannetjes blauw zijn. Je ziet rechts de lege huls van de nymf (een echte rover in de vijver, libellen hebben geen popstadium). Weer een mirakel aan onze kleine vijver. De gazon wordt later afgereden, kwestie van prioriteiten.
