Description
English: Polje Fenoes, a plateau in 720 m, Prefecture Corinthia. The plateau has no natural surface water outlet, which is a relatively frequent geological phenomenon in Karstbasins (island Peloponnese in Greece).
Two small streams, Olvios and Doxa (Όλβιος, Δόξας) empty into the polje. When precipitation of winters is exceptionally large, the soil of the polje is partly wet. A temporary lake may result even nowadays, when the capacity of the three ponors is insufficient or the ponors, or their subsurface waterways, are blocked.
