| Description | Directly across the street where Jacks Chicken Basket Jazz Club was, is Fernando's Bar with cold beer. Fernando's is one of many of the colorful Latin themed painted building in this changed section of South L.A.! Where late night establishments herald in Jazz from the late 20's until the mid 50's. ! Years after the 1992 Rodney King riots in this neighborhood, many Mexican and other Latin decent families moved into the area due to the affordable housing cost, then the change began. The previous shots and this scene of Fernando's Bar represents a big part of South Los Angeles today! |
