Description	Ferrières-sur-Beaulieu (Indre-et-Loire) Aqueduc de Contray : le parement en petit appareil régulier servait de coffrage à un remplissage en moellons et mortier. Il s'agit des vestiges d'un aqueduc gallo-romain qui alimentait en eau une villa située non loin de Loches. Ils sont situés non loin du lieu dit « les petites maisons ». L'aqueduc de Contray sur la rive droite de l'Indre a conservé 4 piles. Cette partie aérienne de l'aqueduc permettait de franchir un vallon. L'eau était certainement captée à la fontaine d'Orfonds, située dans la forêt de Loches, et alimentait une villa proche de Contray. It is the remains of a Gallo-Roman aqueduct that supplied water to a villa near Loches. They are located not far from the place called « les « petites maisons. The aqueduct Contray on the right bank of the Indre retained 4 pilasters aqueduct. The aerial part of the aqueduct allowed to cross a valley. The water was certainly captured the fountain Orfonds, located in the forest of Loches, and suppling with water a villa near Contray.
