Summary

Description
English: Haydn hall of the Esterházy palace in Fertőd, Hungary. The room, connected to the ceremonial hall and accessible from the double staircase of the courtyard, was used as a foyer for the procession or as a concert hall on certain occasions. The walls are decorated with bone-white and pink marble and gilded stucco. Large, multi-branched wooden arches rise from the cornucopia of Baroque puttos, also gilded, and on the east and west sides are huge faience stoves.
