Српски / srpski: Srpski naziv
istočna šarena muharica Opis vrste D.t. 12-13,5 cm. Gnezdi se u južnim i jugoistočnim delovima Balkanskog poluostrva, u delovima Male Azije, područja Kavkaza i Bliskog Istoka. Selica je. Zimu provodi u istočnoj Africi. Staništa su joj očuvane listopadne, ređe mešovite šume sa starim drvećem. Najčešće naseljava šume hrastova, bukve i graba u pobrđu i brdsko-planinskim predelima, dolinama reka i većim parkovima. Van perioda gnežđenja zadržava se u večno zelenim šumama i u šumama oko reka. Gnezdi se u dupljama drveća (najčešće napravljenim odstrane detlića). Hrani se pretežno insektima koje hvata u letu. Ugrožena je zbog ubrzanog nestajanja pogodnih šumskih staništa širom areala. U Srbiji predstavlja novootkrivenu gnezdaricu brdskih i planinskih područja na jugu zemlje. |
