English: An Army Reserve Soldier from the 200th Military Police Command stands watch during a professional boxing tournament conducted at Camp Zama, Japan, July 2, 2016. The tournament was one of many events that culminated into an annual Independence Day Celebration that attracted more than 7,000 American and Japanese citizens to Camp Zama to honor America’s 240th birthday. Due to the large crowds and multiple venues, the military police and emergency services personnel stationed at Camp Zama turned to their Army Reserve counterparts to provide additional safety and security during the public extravaganza. Approximately 25 Soldiers from the 313th MP Detachment, 366th MP Detachment and the 382nd MP Detachment spent three weeks in Camp Zama to attend classes, earn certifications and conduct real world missions as part of its Annual Training requirements.
