Description
English: Mara is famous Baltic Goddess. She protects Baltic States. Goddess Mara in Baltic Native Faith has two hypostases. One of them is Māra – Zemes Māte (Goddess of live). Another hypostasis is Māra – Veļu Māte (Goddess of Death). In this figure Goddess Mara is depicted in Māra – Zemes Māte hypostasis. Many Latvians believe in Goddess Mara. Goddess Mara is widely worshipped in Baltic States.
