English: Stable 13C isotope-based dynamic metabolic profile array of Rosiglitazone, Pioglitazone and PNU-91325 in cultured cells, fed with [U-13C18]stearic acid as the tracer. The color of each square corresponds to the rate of 13C carbon flux from stearic acid into products such as RNA-ribose, DNA-deoxyribose, lactate, glutamate of the TCA cycle and fatty acids induced as altered by drug treatment. The 13C labeled isotopolome readily reveals associations among stearic acid (substrate) and multiple products in cultured tumor cells (liver)
