Vanoggend om 9 uur was daar 'n ongeluk te Lille Ekeberg-plaas. 'n Bestuurder, Erling Kristiansen, het water van 'n put na die plaas aangery. 'n Balk het deurgebreek, en die watervat het na die drywer afgerol, wie se been tussen die koets se raam en die vat beland het. Sy enkel is gebreek, en die man moes in Aker se hospitaal opgeneem word.

Broke his ankle at Lille Ekeberg farm
This morning at 9 o'clock an accident happened at Lille Ekeberg farm. A driver, Erling Kristiansen, was driving water to the farm from a well. A beam broke through, and the water barrel rolled down towards the driver, whose leg was caught between the carriage frame and the barrel. His ankle was broken, and the man had to be admitted to Aker's hospital.

Imorges ved 9-tiden hendte en ulykke på Lille Ekeberg gård. En kjørekar, Erling Kristiansen, holdt pa a kjøre vann til garden fra en bronn. Den ene skåken brakk tvers av, og vanntønnen rullet ned of mot kjørekaren, som fikk benet mellem vognkarmen og tønnen. Ankelen blev knust, og mannen måtte innlegges på Akers sykehus.
