Summary edit

Description
English: The Fil-Oscillator was introduced in the May 1971 issue of Popular Electronics magazine in an article by Roger Melen and Harry Garland. Melen and Garland licensed the design to Dytech Corporation resulting in this commercial product. Popular Electronics described the Fil-Oscillator as "both a sharp audio filter and a versatile waveform generator." In an independent evaluation by Hirsh-Houck Laboratories the Fil-Oscillator was heralded as "a very useful instrument for an audio engineering laboratory." Roger Melen and Harry Garland went on to found Cromemco.
