Deutsch: «Die analoge Lichtbestimmung wird wahrend der Umkopierung durch Lichtbander (auch Lochoder Schaltbander) gesteuert. Deren Ausschnitte geben der Kopiermaschine Schaltungen zur Regulierung der Intensitat des Kopierlichtes vor. Diese Lichtwerte mussen gesondert fur die einzelnen Farbkanale (z. B. Rot-Gelb-Blau) bestimmt werden. Die Lichtwerte eines Films werden in meterlangen Ausdrucken, fruher in handschriftlichen Notationen, festgehalten. Zusatzlich kommen auch Filter zur Lichtsteuerung sowie auf dem Filmstreifen angebrachte Schaltmarkierungen zum Einsatz.» Frame By Frame, Filmmuseum Berlin, Deutsche Kinemathek, Berlin.
