English: Finger Post An old sign post with hand pointing towards Tideswell, about 8 miles away. The stone was damaged about 8 years ago by a hedge slashing machine but has been skilfully restored. Listed Grade II, its square top is unlike any other "stoop" in Derbyshire. It is made of gritstone; hands on the other faces point to Buxton, Winster and Bakewell |
