Português: Detecções de incêndios pelo MODIS entre 15 e 22 de agosto de 2019. English: Terra and Aqua MODIS image, fires (orange-red) and cities (white light) at night in August 2019 (15 - 22): Brazil (bands along highways BR-163 and BR-230 in the rainforest region), Bolivia (Santa Cruz Department), Peru, Northern Argentina and Paraguay are affected, red dots in Southern region of Amazon River and wetland Pantanal. Deutsch: Terra- und Aqua-MODIS-Aufnahme bei Nacht mit Waldbränden und Feuern (orangerot) im südlichen Amazonasgebiet und im Pantanal zwischen 15. und 22. August 2019. Brandherde sind vor allem in Brasilien (Mitte der Aufnahme), Bolivien (östlich von Brasilien mit der Provinz Santa Cruz), Peru, Nord-Argentinien und Paraguay lokalisiert, die nördlichen Staaten wie Venezuela und auch Chile sind kaum betroffen.
