English: Firebreak in the plantation on Pen y Garfan, Ceredigion This break in the trees allows a very pleasant walk up towards the open moorland. Much of the grass is short and the ground is firm, with very few boggy patches. A few sheep were grazing here and among the trees, probably contributing to the prevention of the deep tussocky grass common in such forest breaks. |
